About Me

I am a Civil Engineer and these days I am enjoying the pleasure of pursuing a second university degree. I am a final-year student in the Management Information Systems Department. This education is taking up more of my time than I expected, and time is always scarce. Actually, there are so many things I want to do that it’s impossible to find time for everything. All I can say is that I’m constantly rushing around, never stopping.

Despite my advanced age, I am pursuing a second university degree, but I don’t see any problem with it. In fact, I want to graduate as soon as possible and also study Business Administration, combining my existing education to create synergy. Yes, my goal is to obtain a third bachelor’s degree. Studying at an open university is not a disadvantage, but actually a great opportunity. There are vast resources, and everyone can benefit from them according to their own effort and time. I also want to study Business Administration at an open university.

I am looking for a job in the IT field to build a career and gain broader experience. I’ve postponed my studies in civil engineering; I haven’t pursued it in the past 10 years, and I don’t plan to work in civil engineering in the next 5-10 years either. No matter how old I get, I will definitely work as a civil engineer someday. The civil engineering education I received is useful in every job; I see its benefits everywhere. It gave me analytical thinking skills.

I live in Istanbul. I’ve become so accustomed to it that living elsewhere doesn’t even cross my mind. But learning foreign languages is another one of my interests; I speak several languages. Actually, if I had the time, I would like to be able to speak 12 languages at an advanced level. Although it’s a difficult goal, the number of people who have achieved it is not small. For now, I’m still at the very beginning of the road. The world is becoming increasingly globalized, and communication resources are developing. Although borders haven’t disappeared, accessing information has become easier.

I am constantly developing, and I spend my free time reading books and participating in online courses. I constantly strive to learn new things. A significant part of my life is dedicated to personal development.

This is my personal blog, and it’s constantly under development. I’m continuously adding new content. You can find sufficient information about me here.

I was born in 1976 in the People’s Republic of Bulgaria. I spent my childhood there. In 1989, I came to the Republic of Turkey and became a Turkish citizen. I am a citizen of both the Republic of Bulgaria (EU) and the Republic of Turkey.

I spent a significant part of my youth in Adana, where I first settled in Turkey, completing my middle and high school education there. In 1995, I came to Istanbul to attend university and moved here. My university education was lengthy.

I graduated in 2010 and began my professional career as a civil engineer in 2011. After working as a civil engineer for about five years, I decided to pursue a new profession. In high school, I studied in the information technology department, where computer science and business administration were heavily taught. I decided to pursue a university education in the same field and started my studies in the Open University’s Management Information Systems department in 2022. I am currently a student there.

I live in Sultangazi/Istanbul. I am not working and am looking for a suitable job. I am eager to find a job, but I would like to work in information technology rather than civil engineering.

My areas of interest are numerous and varied, primarily:

  • Civil Engineering,
  • Information Technology, and
  • Business Administration and Economics.
